Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Dipharma Francis S.r.l. is comprised of 4 members, each appointed for a period of 3 financial years, and able to be reappointed for more than one term. The Board of Directors is responsible for defining the strategic business guidelines and monitoring of operational management. The Board comprises non-executive directors with industry expertise and specific technical competences.

Barbara Geinoz-Biazzi
President

Daughter of the founder, Barbara Geinoz Biazzi joined the Dipharma Board thirty years ago as a non-Executive Director. She is a Physician who in parallel has worked in hospitals, private practice and schools.
She is married and has three children and four grandchildren.

Marc-Olivier Geinoz
Chief Executive Officer

Grandson of the founder, Marc-Olivier Geinoz joined Dipharma in 2004 and was appointed C.E.O. of the company in 2005. Prior to Dipharma, he held senior roles with companies belonging to the Schindler Group and was founder of Proteus Computer Systems, an IT services company.
Mr. Geinoz holds a Master Degree in Business Administration.
He is married and has two children.

Jorge Nogueira
Non-Executive Director

Jorge Nogueira joined Dipharma as a non-Executive Director in 2005.
Currently Head of the Tire and Specialty Rubbers Business Unit of Lanxess AG in Germany. His career experience also includes senior positions in Europe, USA, Latin America andAsia with Rhone-Poulenc and DOW Chemical.
Mr. Nogueira’s background is in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration.
He is married with four children.

Enrico Polastro
Non-Executive Director

Enrico Polastro joined Dipharma as a non-Executive Director more than fifteen years ago.
He has over thirty years of experience in providing management consulting to the chemical industry,  project, focusing on business and commercial due diligence projects, strategic development and technology assessments. He also teaches finance at the University of Brussels, has authored over one hundred articles on the fine chemicals industry and has also contributed to the Ullmann Chemical Encyclopedia. Previously he held roles in R&D at Monsanto and Solvay.
Enrico Polastro, is a Ph.D. in Bioorganic Chemistry and holds an M.B.A.
He is married with two children.
